Move with me, accessibly.
As a disabled person who lives with a chronic pain syndrome (CRPS & Bertolotti Syndrome) and mobility issues, I deeply understand the importance of making dance, movement, and meditation accessible to disabled and non-disabled people. Dance is a powerful way to connect with Spirit, engage the body, feel joy, and process sadness. At age 23, I released my first full feature film, Pain Raised Me, about the role that dance has played in my healing journey. Now, I bring dance, movement, and meditation to others so we can heal together through community.
My philosophy consists of a mix of intriguing improvisation, creative choreography, somatic education, Nia dance, principles of disability justice (Sins Invalid), and an inclusive dance teacher philosophy (Stop Gap Dance Company).
